When one door closes another one opens

Well we finally got word today when little baby "E" will be leaving us. They said it could between now and April 13th. Its bittersweet because we are going to miss her terribly but we are so happy and excited for her to finally be with her forever family. I have always said everything happens for a reason. So I know in my heart it is meant to be this way. I know the Lord has a plan for us and there is a little sweet baby that will be meant to be with our family forever. I couldn't be more greatful for our family and friends and all the love and support they have gave us through our fostering journey so far.

Spilling our feelings

Well like I expressed in our last post we were waiting to get in touch with the family that adopted her sibling that may adopt her. Well we finally did. They e-mailed us first then we e-mail all our feelings back and some pictures of us and her. They then called the next day. Deryck talked to the dad, He is was super nice. He just expressed how much they really want Baby "E". He said he felt like this is the Lords way of telling them she should be with them. He also expressed to us how he has been in our shoes before. It just really made us feel good to know they really want her. They are seriously the nicest people. They also told us they would love to keep in touch and give us pictures and updates on her :) So all in all Baby "E" will be leaving us soon. I just know this is whats meant to be. Not sure exactly when we are still wating for all the paperwork to go through so we can have more of an idea of when. We are just so happy for her. She will be going to a good family. But we will miss her dearly.

Our Journey to Becoming Foster Parents

We recently became foster parents. I figured I would start using my blog to share our journey. It was a long process. I want to say it took us a good 9 months to complete everything from classes to licensing to home studies. On Dec 17th we finally got the news that everything was completed and we were good to go to get a placement. We were beyond excited because we had waited so long. We got our first call the next day for a placement but had to turn it down. Then Monday Dec 19th I finally got in touch with a Placement coordinator that specializes in newborns and toddlers. He told me there was a little girl that was 4 days old in the hospital that needed placement. So we went to see her in the hospital the next day which would of been December 20th and decided to take placement so we brought her home that day. It has been such an emotional rollercoaster. From thinking we maybe able to adopt her to finding out she may get adopted by the family that had adopted her siblings. The family got approved for her to come. We are hoping to get a hold of them to share our feeling with them. But, we know she will most likely end up with her siblings. We are happy about that. But we will miss her dearly. But with the system anything can happen so we are still holding out hope.

Purses

So when we get out tax return money ... Deryck gave me approval that I can get a new purse. I am so excited. For those of you that know me. Know how I am with purses. I LOVE THEM!!! So I found 3 super cute ones online... I just need everyones input on which one I should get. The first two I found on a boutique on facebook. The last one I found on amazon.com. That one is a Jessica Simpson purse. My friend had one and it was sooo adorable...

ALL FINISHED!!!!

So I have offically been finished with Massage School for the last two weeks. It was a long haul but I did it. I am so proud of myself!! The next step is a need to fill out all my paper work so I can go take my National Board test so I can be certified and licensed! I am super excited but also super nervous to take the National Board... I will definately keep everyone updated.

My Valentine!!!

I know I am a day late... But I just wanted to write how much I love Deryck and how greatful I am that he is my Valentine! Here is some reasons why I love him so much and he is so great.

- He tells me he loves me constantly

- He writes cute text messages randomly

-He tells me he can't wait to have a family with me.

- He works so hard to support and take care of me.

- He helps me around the house.

- He never complains even when I make dinner and he doesn't like it.. (Even when he is picky)

- That he tells me he wouldn't trade me for the world

- I love that he has wrote me the most cutest random poems

- I love that he is so good look and he is all mine :)

- I love how he cherishes his family and mine and loves them dearly...

Better Now than Never.....

So Excited....

Because we are going to this tonight with My In- Laws and I am so excited. This will be my 3rd year going and I can honestly say I don't think it will ever get old. It has such a great Christmas message.

Decorating.....

Lately.. I have been into Decorating... I made these blocks. I was so happy with the way they turned out i decided I was going to keep them for myself. They are the same colors as my House. But, right now they are on top on the tv and so I am deciding if i should get a little shelf to put them on. Opinions??

Happy 2nd Anniversary to my Best Friend!!!

Today is our 2nd Anniversary. It feels so wierd. I feel like we just got married yesterday. I swear times flies. I have to say this has been the best 2 years ever. I couldnt have asked for a better guy. He is my Best friend, Campanion, Lover, Comforter, Husband! He is everything to me! I am just so greatful for him and all he has done for me. Deryck, I love you so much!! Happy 2nd Anniversary!

My first Fall Craft!!

Well one night while Deryck was at work I decided i wanted to make a wreath. I always seen people with wreaths on thier doors and thought it look so cute. So I just decide I am going to make me one. Believe it or not i was not sure how to make one so I kind of just went with it. I thought it turned out pretty cute. I so proud of myself LOL!

The big 2-3!

I pretty much love this guy right here more than anything! Today is his birthday 10-10-10. How cool is that? I just want him to know how much I love him and to tell him.....

School and Life....

Well school is going good.. I will be done in January. I am looking forward to that. I started my clinics. I have done 9 so far, 91 to go. Whoo hoooo!

Other than that Deryck is just working and we keep busy with friends, church and family.
We are just loving life... Thats about it. Everything is Awesome even though we aren't too exciting!

Changes in School!

Well, I changed to Advanced massage in school. I am no longer in Basic! I love advanced that is where I am learning all the different kinds of massages. I am starting clinics! You pay the school $35 for a 50 Minute massage. You can request me. So if you would like to come in. Let me know! I never knew how much would like massage but I really do love it!

Weddings!

I know I am kind of behind on my blogging. Well, two of my cousins got married in June. One of June 5th. Which was my cousin Melissa and let me tell you her wedding was stunningly Beautiful! Then on June 18th My cousin Chris got married to the beautiful Karla. I was honored to be asked if I would be in there wedding. It was in Mt. Charleston. It couldn't of been more beautiful. So Congrats Kevin and Melissa & Chris and Karla!
