Freecation

Well we got this info from a guy Deryck works with that out at Primm they were giving away hotel rooms for 2 nights. So were like heck yeah a free get away so we booked it. So Tuesday and Wednesday we stay out at Primm. It was a nice little getaway. We needed it we havent been out of town alone since we got engaged. We rode the roller coaster, I think that was the jerkiest (if thats even a word) roller coaster I have ever been on. We hurt when we got off that thing. But, at least we can say we have been on it. HAHA. We also did a little shopping. That was fun. We dont get to do that much so, it was a little treat for ourselfs. We did lay out and went swimming a little bit. The water was freezing though. We just relaxed and enjoyed being together.

Now in just about a week we are going to Park City, UT. We will be there a week. My little sister has tournament there. We are excited to get away where it is a little cooler..

SPEAK IN CHURCH!!!
Yes, you heard it they asked me to speak in church. Well, my 2nd counselor, Brother Bolton called me and asked if I would speak in church sunday. I said yes, I mean, I hate speaking in front of people but, I said I would do it. At the same time I thought it would be kind of fun and exciting. He said he wants me to share my testimony about girls camp based on one of the young womens values of Integrity. I am just blank I don't even know where to start. I am sure once I start thinking it will just all come to me, I HOPE! Well, I hope it goes good.

Our Little Friend

We had a visitor on our wall right outside our front door yesterday. Here is a quick glimpse of him. It was so funny. I was in the bathroom doing my hair and I heard our dog, Gunner yelping like crying and I went out side and he was going crazy because he seen this little lizard on the wall.

I decided since I don't have a job and the economy is crap and it's not that easy to find a job that I should at least find something to do. So I painted a few boards and bought some vinyl from a lady in my ward and made these. Two of them i gave to our mothers for Mothers Day. One I still have if any one wants it they can have it. I think I am going to try and do tiles next.

The Colorado River

A couple weekends ago we decided to go camping just for the night with some friends. I dont know if the place had a name but, it was pretty cool. It was right by Boulder City near the Colorado River. We camped right by the river. I had never been camping before. It was a fun expierence. We went on a Saturday night. We cooked chicken and potatoes for dinner. We used a dutch oven. We made smores too. You can forget those when you camp. Which we almost did. We just hung around by the fire and talked. We also used the dutch oven to make our breakfast. When they were cooking it, it look pretty darn gross. It turned out super delicious. It was potatoes, eggs, and bacon. I am excited to go to girls camp now!

My Week Long Job at Costco

My Dad called me about a month ago and asked if I would do a job for him at Costco for 7 days, From April 13th to April 19th. I thought well I have nothing going on and why not do something for some extra money. So for a whole week I stayed in Las Vegas at my parents and did this job for my dad. It actually wasn't that bad. But there was two flaws about it. 1. That I missed Deryck. 2. That by the end of the day my feet and back were killing me. I just stood by the bread that my Dad works for and if any body came by the bread I would tell them about the promotion they were having. It ended up being an easy job for some extra money.

Our New Snowboards

I have been slacking on blogging. Well, Snowboarding season is over. But we went I would say maybe 4 times this season. We both got snowboards maybe the 2nd time we went so we could have our own. I love my snowboard. Deryck loves his too. I even found matching boots to go with my board so maybe when we get extra money I can get them. Here is a couple pictures of our boards. I am so glad Deryck taught me because I love it now!! Its my new favorite thing to do in the winter.
