The Saturday after Christmas, My parents brought my Aunt out to Overton to see our house. We were glad to see her getting out, I think its good for her. They didnt stay real long. But, we had a nice little dinner and visit. We were so glad Aunt Shirley liked our house. We miss all of them. They live in vegas so, we dont get to see them as much as we'd like to. We were glad they all came out to Overton to see us.

It was our first christmas being married. We had alot of fun. We got to spend equal time with both sides of the family which was good. On Christmas eve we went to my parents and had dinner with them and my sister and we all exchanged gifts. That was fun, we got alot of good stuff that we both wanted. Then the extended family all came over for dessert. We all had a fun time we just talked, played pool and wii. Deryck and I had a good time. Thanks for everything Mom and Dad!

On my Christmas Day we hung out with Deryck's family. We opened presents with Lori, Kevin, Jestin, Taryn, and Blayke. Oh yeah, Grandma and Grandpa Waters and Uncle Dave too. It was Blayke's first Christmas. It was so cute to watch him open his presents. After all the presents, we went to the Eureka in Mesquite to eat Christmas dinner at the buffet. Thats what Grandma and Grandpa Waters wanted to do. Oh yeah and the reason why i don't have pictures of Christmas Day is because, I left my camera at my moms on Christmas eve I was pretty bummed. Overall, I think it was a really good Christmas.

Here goes Seven[7] Factoids about ME:

1. I was adopted at 3 weeks old.

2. I just moved to the small town of Overton, after living in Las Vegas my whole life. Born and Raised!

3. I ate piegon poop when i was 18 months old. My mom freaked out and so, she called poison control!

4. When i was a senior in high school. My best friend Madison and I went to lunch. I backed up in my car then when forward and thought i was good to go. Well, guess what? I wasn't! I ran right on top of a rock! The mexicans had to use a fork lift to get it off. I know its okay. LAUGH!

5. I had my tonsils removed when I was 7 years old. It was the worst! All i ate was coke slurpees from 7- 11. I also was allergic to the anesthesia, so it made me super sick. It was awful.

6. I was outside bare foot. The neighbor boys were out there giving me a hard time and teasing me and they kicked a two by four into my foot. I started gushing out blood. I mean ALOT of blood. I had to go to the emergency room and get 6 stitches in my foot.

7. My sister isn't my blood sister. But, alot of people say we look a alike. Well, when we were little we looked alike ALOT! Not so much anymore.

Christmas Lights

Deryck put up some christmas lights around our house. We needed some decoration on the outisde so, we decided to do christmas lights. The pictures arent very good, but i thought i would post some so everyone can see them. I put the little blinker blubs in them so they blink. Deryck thought it looked dumb. I thought it looked kind of cool. So we didn't feel like changing them so, we left them blinking.

Snow In Las Vegas

I can't believe it actually snowed it Las Vegas, how crazy is that. Deryck and I were in the Las Vegas sunday night, stayed the night at my moms. Then we were there all day Monday. We had to get christmas shopping done and we had an appointment to go to. So the whole day we were out, it snowed. We went to our friend Ricky's house and his front yard was just covered. Deryck and I just couldnt get over that it snowed in Las Vegas. I mean come on how often does that happen. So i took a few pictures thought i would post them. :)

Our First Christmas Tree

So, I havent posted yet because, i had been debating what a should post. So I thought Deryck and I would share with you all our first christmas tree. We put it up the day after thanksgiving. We were so excited to put it up together, it is our first christmas tree. Its not a very exciting tree. Its pre-lit and i have red and silver ornaments on it. As you can see we don't have a tree topper because the top of our tree hits our ceiling. There is no room, its ok though. Well, here it is our first christmas tree!
